How it works
No sign-up, no onboarding flow, no template marketplace to browse first.
Select a Markdown document, a section of a webpage, or an answer from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or any other assistant, and copy it. Alternatively, select the text and use the right-click menu.
Click the toolbar icon or press Alt + Shift + C. Hit Read clipboard and your content appears in the live preview, already parsed as Markdown.
Choose a template and aspect ratio, tweak the width or font size if you like, then copy the image to your clipboard or download it as PNG or PDF.
Tip: Alt + Shift + C opens Chat2Card from anywhere in the browser.
Add a line with only `---` where you want a page break and turn on “Split on ---”. The preview becomes a multi-card set and “Export all” saves every card in one action, numbered in order.
Set the ratio before you fine-tune the font size, since changing the ratio reflows the content. Auto-fit picks the closest standard ratio to your actual content height, which usually avoids large blank areas.
Select text on any webpage, right-click, and choose “Generate card with Chat2Card”. The panel opens with the selection already loaded — no clipboard step at all.
Browsers refuse clipboard reads if the panel does not have focus. Click once inside the panel and retry. As a fallback, open the editor and paste manually — that path never fails.
Use 3× export scale for anything that will be printed or shown on a large display. For ordinary social posts 2× is plenty and produces much smaller files.
Use “Copy image” rather than downloading. The image goes onto your system clipboard and pastes directly into WeChat, WeChat Work, Slack, Notion or a document, skipping the file dance entirely.
